About Me

 My name is Chris and have been working in GIS for 3 years. Initially starting off as an easy way to get some elective credits today it is a field that I am not only proud to be apart of but definitely one that I am striving to advance in. I've always loved Geography (I used to complete in Geography Bees in school) and have also been into tech (when I can afford to do so).

This blog is intended to document my advacncements both academically and professionally. I hope to be able to look back at this in the future and see how much I've grown.  For now what I will be posting will be my assignments from my GIS courses at UWF (University of West Florida).

I currently live in the Tampa bay area which is also where I was raised and work as a GIS and Planning Analyst for schools. My free time usually involves video games, movies, reading, looking at maps, spending time with loved ones. When I do have time, I try to travel across the globe. I make an attempt to travel internationally at least once a year, and out of state at least once a year.
