GIS Programming - My First Week
Prior to starting this class I didn't know aa single thing about python apart from the fact that it was used for coding in GIS. this past week, for the first time, I was able to work in an IDE, and dip my toes in the water to test out my coding skills
I followed some exercises in our book that involved assigning variables with numbers like "x=7". I decided to take it a step farther and assign more variables to create random functions
I also created a flowchart to convert 3 radians to degrees. Even though I have made plenty of flow charts before, it felt weird making a flowchart about a program I have almost no experience in. I tried to make the steps simplified but I am hoping I did not compromise too many details.
I am looking forward to what we will be learning next and to see how it will potentially impact the work I already do in ArcGIS Pro.
