Using Model Builder
For this week's lesson, we learned how to use ModelBuilder in ArcGIS Pro. I didn't even know this feature existed until this week and instantly recognized how useful it was.
For the most part things went relatively straightforward and according to plan. It is basically just going through geoprocessing tools and then copying and pasting the steps into the ModelBuilder.
After completing this, the first thing I thought of were all of the lengthy and time consuming geoprocessing procedures I do at my job that involves capturing data based on student points and location along with filtering for certain information (such as grade level and school of attendance). I hope to use this as a reference to create my own models at work.
